A carved frog is a good excuse to retire the anonymous office mug. Ito Jakuchu's frog is carved into this 15-fluid-ounce ceramic and porcelain cup, giving you artwork with a little more dimension than a printed graphic. I'd choose it for the Japanese-art fan whose desk could use a small amphibian presence, or the frog collector who actually wants to use their collection.
The practical details keep the little art moment from becoming a chore. It's fully vitrified, glazed, and lead-free, and it can go in both the microwave and dishwasher. That makes it a sensible pick for coffee that gets forgotten during a meeting and reheated afterward. The 15-ounce capacity also suits someone who wants a generous pour rather than a tiny, ceremonial caffeine stop.
Green or blue is a pleasingly simple choice for a frog mug, and I'd lean green for the full pond association. Just don't build a color-matched desk setup around the listing photos: each mug is made to order, and the glaze color and texture can vary.
