A croissant, a cafetière, and stars make a pretty convincing agenda for a coffee club. The blue Coffee Club decal design pairs with a glossy transparent glaze on handmade stoneware. It has the right subject matter for someone who takes their afternoon coffee seriously and considers the pastry an essential part of the meeting.

At approximately 230 ml, this is a cup for a smaller serving, not a long morning of sipping one enormous brew. It measures just over 8 cm high and 7.5 cm in diameter, so check those dimensions if your usual desk mug is closer to a bucket. Think a modest pour with a croissant beside your keyboard.

You can clean it in a dishwasher and reheat a neglected drink in a microwave. Allow 2 to 4 weeks before postage because the cup is made to order; for a gift, that means choosing your coffee-club member well ahead of their birthday.
